Carlisle Photography began in September 2005 with a vision of creating a family photography experience that is enjoyable for all. Kiera was 5 and Cade was only 9 months then. Michele spent her time either at the hospital taking X-rays or at the Mom's Club event of the day...often taking pictures. The conversation that spawned the new career went something like this:

(in the bathroom of course since isn't that where most great ideas are formed, figured out and decisions made)

Michele: I think I could do this. Like in five years when the kids get older and go off to school.
Me: Why would you wait five years. Why not start now and in five years you might actually have a business to start.
Michele: Oh, Oh dear.

Long story short, the five years have come and gone. The X-ray thing is something she used to do and she has a career that she loves and clients that she cherishes.

Our focus is on family photography. She let's me say 'our' every now and then. It really is all about her. I just keep the hard drives spinning. Michele's passion for capturing your family, especially the little ones, is like nothing I have ever seen...or heard. If I hear 'so big' or 'meow' many more times...

The kids just absolutely love her. I guess it is a part of that whole you get what you give thing. It's just play time up there as far as they know. It's funny when the kids don't want to leave.

I found these two quotes that remind me of what I see in her.

If you have only one smile in you give it to the people you love.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

Thanks so much for giving Michele the opportunity to document a part of your family's history.
